Baseball and Softball Umpire Sign-up
Looking for Umpires!
Do you have a child in 7th grade or higher who wants to earn money as a youth umpire? Adults are welcome and encouraged to participate as well!
We’re seeking players and parents with baseball or softball knowledge to umpire games for grades 4-12.
Details:
- Transportation: Umpires must provide their own transportation to games.
- Game Schedule: Games are played on weeknights from May to July.
- Pay: Varies depending on the age level being umpired. Multiple game opportunities available.
- Training: An umpire training session will be held in April.
If you wish to umpire both baseball and softball, you must sign up for both.
Basketball Referee Sign-Up
Looking for Basketball Referees!
The SCVAA is seeking adults and young adults (ages 16 and up) to referee 3rd-8th grade basketball games this season.
Details:
- Game Schedule: Saturdays only.
- Pay: Varies by grade level (1099 arrangement), with multiple games available each Saturday.
- Location: Games are played at Stillwater Area Schools.

Flag Football Referee Sign-Up
Looking for Flag Football Referees!
The SCVAA is seeking adults and young adults (ages 14 and up) to referee K-8th grade flag football games this Fall.
Details:
- Pay: $35 per game (1099 arrangement), with multiple games available each Saturday.
- Game Schedule: Primarily Saturdays, with some weeknight opportunities. All games are played in the Stillwater area.

Soccer Referee Umpire Sign-up
Looking for Soccer Referees!
Do you have a child in 7th grade or higher who has previously played organized soccer and wants to earn money as a referee? Adults are also encouraged to participate!
We are seeking players with soccer experience to referee games for grades 5-12.
Details:
- Pay: Starts at $30 per game, with doubleheader opportunities.
- Transportation: Referees must provide their own transportation to games.
- Game Schedule: Games are played on weeknights and Saturdays in the St. Croix Valley Area.

Sign Up to Become a VAA Youth Sports Official:
- Visit https://manageyourleague.com/SCVAAB/
- Navigate to the Officials tab at the top of the page.
- Use the Sports Official Signup link for the sport you're interested in to enter your contact information.
- If you've previously participated in VAA, use your Parent/Player User ID or name to sign up.
- If you're new to VAA, you’ll need to enter all your contact details and create a User ID.
- If you've forgotten your User ID or password, use the Forgot User ID or Password tool to reset.
- Once signed up, the VAA Officials Coordinator will authorize your registration, which may take up to 48 hours. After approval, you’ll be able to log in, receive emails, and more.
Login and Set Availability Preferences as an Official:
- Go to https://manageyourleague.com/SCVAAB/
- Log in at the upper right corner using your User ID or Name and password.
- Once logged in, you should see a new Referee tab at the top of the page (or in the drop-down menu on mobile).
- Click the Referee tab and select your name (if multiple family members are signed up, choose the correct one).
- From the drop-down menu, select Availability Preference and input your available days and times for game assignments by the Umpire Coordinator.
